Events

We occasionally host community events at the outdoor Downtown Rockwood Plaza. If you are interested in hosting a public event at the Plaza, please fill out the inquiry form to start the process.

  Please note that all events held at the Downtown Rockwood Plaza must be open to the public; private events are not allowed as it is a large open area and cannot be closed off to the public. Booked events are not hosted by the Rockwood Market Hall in any official capacity and therefore are not affiliated with the Rockwood Market Hall. All requested events are subject to internal review, subject to availability, and not guaranteed; at minimum 45 day notice is required to ensure enough time for coordination, walkthrough, etc. There is NO outside prepared food allowed, either catered or for sale (this includes food stands or food carts); if food is required for the event, it must be ordered from businesses within the Rockwood Market Hall. While there is no rental fee, all events will be assessed clean-up and maintenance fees that vary depending on the size and scope of the proposed event. Events may also be subject to a City-mandated Fire Prevention Permit depending on the size of the proposed event; please reference the City of Gresham Fire Prevention Planning Guide for additional details on what they require for large public gatherings.
